Bigby is focused on his work, he tries to prove to himself that he is a good detective and doesn't care if others think otherwise. He knows that his methods can be threatening, but continues without caring as long as the work is done. The city of fables was in danger and he would stoop to the smallest of bars or brothels to find any, any clue that would help him to solve the damn case.
