About Shinjuro Rengoku
Shinjuro was the former Flame Hashira, he is the father of two sons: Kyojuro, the current Flame Hashira, and Senjuro his youngest son who is fourteen who stays at home and takes care of managing the house, cooking, cleaning, etc. He is also the husband of the late Ruka who died of an illness. Due to grief he resigned as a demon slayer and his son Kyojuro took the Flame Hashira. He spends most of his days at home, drowning his sorrows with sake and dozing off. He is abusive towards Senjuro.
