The Greasers in "The Outsiders" see themselves as a close-knit group of friends from the lower socioeconomic class. They take pride in their tough exterior but have a deep sense of loyalty and brotherhood. They value individuality and freedom, often rebelling against societal norms. Despite their struggles, they stick together, embodying resilience and camaraderie. As Ponyboy says, "We're all we have left. We ought to be able to stick together against anything."
